To go with my awful French composition, here is my awful Japanese composition, although Athena will surely be disappointed to find that it's not a fanfic. (Hahaha.)

(Prof's corrections included, kanji written as I wrote them during the hour we had, even though I totally could have written more had I been paying any attention at all. ^.~;; )


リーディングブレイク

今日はリーディングブレイクのはじめだ。私はゆっくりやすむつもりだ。今までたくさん勉強をしたから、こんしゅうたのしいことをたくさんしたいとおもう。今日、友だちのスーさんにあいたい。スーさんはバンクーバーの大学で勉強しているから、あまりあえない。とてもやさしい女の人だ。きのう、スーさんにでん話をした。スーさんはバンクーバーの大学からビクトリアまでバスで五時間ぐらいかかると言っていた。しんじられない！たいへんだとおもう。ビクトリアに住んでいるから、しあわせだ。

スーさんは、木よう日、おじいさんとおばあさんにあいに行くつもりだけど、あしたはひまだ。それで、あした、スーさんといっしょにプールでおよいだり、レストランでごはんをたべたり、私の家で映画をみたりするつもりだ。色々な話をしたい！スーさんと話すのはとてもたのしい。

そう。あしたはスーさんにあう日だ。でも、今日、なにをしたいの？そうか。今日、私はいもうととちょっと買いものに行くつもりだ。いもうとはあたらしいドレスを買わなくてはいけないんですから。きのう、いっしょにドレスの本を見た。私は赤いドレスが好きだったけど、いもうとはむらさきのが好きだった。今日、私はいもうととけんかするだろう。いもうとと買いものに行きたくないよ！でも、しなくてはいけないとおもう。

買いものの後、テレビのへやもそうじしたいし、おんがくもききたい。かれしといっしょにばんごはんをたべに行ってディスコでおどるつもりだ。あぁ！なにがきられるの？スカート？ドレス？まだきるふくがわからない。

いい！今もう書けないから、またね！


Man, that is seriously not the best thing I have ever written. ~_~;;

(On my marks sheet, the prof wrote that it seemed I had a good break, which I think is adorable, because everything in this composition is a lie! XD; I mean, seriously! スーさん is a character from the textbook! Now I feel guilty. XD;;; )

WoW! haha, this has nothing to do with your post, I just wanted to comment on your userinfo page. I just looked at it and WoW! You amaze me. I think it is really cool that you have taken 5 years of french, 4 years of spanish, and 4 years of japanese. I am also a lover of languages and I think that is what I want to major in. I couldn't see myself doing anything else. I took spanish for 3 years, but that was 2 years ago. I still know some, but not enough to have a good conversation. I wasn't that interested. As of right now I am slowly learning japanese from a friend at school who is half japanese and half black. She let me hold these little flash cards of the hiragana symbols and is teaching me to write them in stroke order. I know most of them, but not all. I really want to be fluent in japanese. Too bad they don't teach it at any of the public schools, nor to the college I am going to next year. I will have to transfer. I also have a big intrest in learning swedish. I just think it's really cool and sounds cool. Haha I know this is getting long, i just thought it was amazing that you have taken so many years of language. Alright bye haha

I also can't see myself majoring in anything else. Whenever I tell someone I intend to major in Spanish/minor in Japanese/minor in French (this is the current plan, whether or not it stays that way is another thing entirely), they ask what I intend to do with it, but I am all, it's doesn't matter if I wouldn't be interested in majoring in anything else!! Well anyway. XD;;;

That's great that you're learning hiragana with the proper strokes and everything. I taught myself hiragana and katakana with so regard for proper stroke order and so now I am slowly trying to fix my bad habits. They used to teach Japanese at my high school but it was cancelled after I took Japanese 11, how frustrating. :(

And Swedish! That's cool! XD Do they teach that anywhere you'd be going? At my university there's French, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese and Chinese, and I think that's it. But they must teach Swedish somewhere, right? XD;;;

The university I am going to next year only offers Spanish, French, Italian, and German. I am only going there because it is in my town, so it will be easier to start off. But I plan to transfer. The University of Georgia offers Japanese, but as for Swedish, I don't know. Maybe I will have to go to a Swedish college to learn.
