It is almost five o'clock and I have yet to be wished a happy half birthday.

I am very disappointed in everyone.

Also I have vacuumed more today than I have in the whole of the rest of my life. Or something.

My brother hates J.K. Rowling because of the pope's opinions re: Harry Potter. I think this makes more sense if you know him. My brother, not the pope.

Also -- FINALLY! I think it's so ridiculous that all the covers we've seen before didn't have the summary on the back. Dude, if it's such a spoiler that you can't show it to us till two days before the book is due, why did you write it in the first place? Dur.

MY COUSIN AND HIS WIFE ARE COMING IN LESS THAN TWO WEEKS!

I HAVE TO CLEAN MY ROOM!!!

(that's my favourite joke ever ever ever ever ever omg ever)
(except maybe the "let's get on the ship, men!" joke, which will be forever fabulous)
(hahahahaha, I am laughing just thinking about it! oh man, hahaha, "let's get on the ship, men!" I can't even take it!)
(someday I will write a joke book and I will buy six trillion copies)

My schedule as it looks right now, although who knows what it will look like when I actually register tomorrow. )

In other news, Entertainment Weekly said Fijación Oral is Shakira's best work to date, which makes me wonder if they've actually heard any of her other Spanish albums, because don't get me wrong, I love "La Tortura" and that song about inglés is pretty cool too, but the rest of it is going to take me quite a while to get used to I think. Especially the part where she sings in French for the sole purpose of messing with my head, geeze Shakira.

The neighbour that hates me I think is outside with her loud friend. Fantasmic.

Last night I had a dream that one of my aunts had moved to Victoria and had a new kid and I was baby-sitting this kid who was so so adorable. I seriously wish I had a so so adorable kid I could baby-sit. You have no idea. I sure hope this isn't a sign of maternal instinct, because if it is, Athena will hunt me down and kill me.

Tall ship pictures coming soonish. :)

Things I would like to do tomorrow:
--spend my lunch break walking through the university garden to see all the ducks! ^.^ (hopefully they won't chase me, as other animals are wont to do)
--type up stuffs from my notebook
--type up stuffs from this list thing I have to type stuffs up from
--make a back-up CD
--work on my Japanese assignment
--take notes for my Linguistics paper
--write! :)

If even three things from that list get done, I will be pleased, because as of late I have been very lazy indeed. ~_~

Today I chatted with Athena in French and then with her pal in Japanese all under a Spanish screenname ("júrame que no irás a buscar a Black," POR SUPUESTO)! Sammoth, I fully expect to chat with you in Japanese one day, so be forewarned. XDXDXDXDXDXD (Says the girl who just now decided to watch bad music videos in double time instead of practicing her kanji, whoops whoops~!)

Tonight's Seinfeld is the one in which George proposes the names of Soda and Seven, both of which I actually think would make lovely names, but then I am the crazy girl who goes around naming her characters "Je'mia" and "Gerai" and "Naftoli" and "Aythee" and "Even" and, most recently, "C," so basically you can't listen to anything I say. XD;

I seriously miss Naft so much. Man, this guy. He is on my favourite T-shirt which is basically no less than awesome! XDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXDXD

In my most recently published story, they replaced my "bookshelf" with "book-shelf." It is an anthology published by high school English teachers. I am all, "Uhm ... ?"

I went through all my Disney Adventures magazines yesterday. Well, I had gone through them before and got rid of some, but yesterday I went through in order to rip out anything interesting and toss the rest. It was sort of strange. Lots of Joey Lawrence and JTT (hahaha, I wonder if anyone calls him that anymore?). They're all from like 1995 or earlier, so it was all pretty interesting. Stuff about how Boy Meets World was a new show or something. XD; As you can tell, I don't know what I'm saying anymore. Probably it didn't help that I had Prisoner of Azkaban on in French in the background. Man, I definitely like the Spanish dub better. It's more to the point. I guess the French dub actors had time to fill or something, there's a lot of extra words. ^^;;;; It's funny though. XD;;

ALSO! I am sure that after clicking this link, Athena will have to agree with me that February 8 will basically be the best day ever. XDXDXDXDXDXDXD!!!

I want to reply to various LJ comments but I am having a hard time concentrating right now! It is weird and frustrating. Grr!

One of my friends saw Troy and said it was pretty good but I get the feeling she doesn't know the original story very well. That's all right. People are ranting on [livejournal.com profile] ilium. Good to know my little LJ community is good for something! ^_^ Hehehe.

Oh man I found it! I saw this once at a bookstore and I totally regret not buying it. Crayola Kids' version of the Trojan War? How could that not be cool?!?!? Hahaha, I think I've mentioned this before.

Daily Planet did a piece where an archaeologist talked about everything that's wrong with Troy, history-wise. But they have not uploaded the clip yet. Get on it, ya bums!

My brain is fizzling. <(' ')> (>'')> <(''<) <(' ')>
Also, I have been cleaning under my bed today. It is less than gorgeous down there, woo-hee.

Read Into Thin Air and it gave me a nightmare. Have been cleaning my room again. There is more dust in there than in any attic in any haunted house anywhere EVER. Last night I dreamt about cookies, bad Aladdin remakes, plants, and slow elevators. I still miss Winnipeg. Rrrgh.

My friend and I are giving flute lessons to two fellow band members, it's awesome. Hopefully soon I will also be able to tutor languages. I'm excited! :)

Today I practiced the saxophone, yay me~.

Something that really bothers me is that my store-bought Playskool dollhouse has always meant more to me than the wooden dollhouse my father built and my grandmother furnished. I think now that I have realized that, though, it'll change. I was dusting the wooden one today and began to see it in a much nicer light than I ever did when I was younger. I don't know.

Had a huge sneezing fit earlier today because of all the dust. At least I managed to get rid of some of it. -_-;

I've been feeling really uneasy lately, like something bad is going to happen. I don't like this feeling at all. Hopefully now that I've finished that book it will go away?

I have to finish typing out SFF ... in the notebook the novel is almost finished but on the computer there's still a lot to go. :X

Things I must do this week!!
(besides "write a lot" and "compose a lot," those are always important!)

· Back up my writing. Aaaallll of it. This will involve a lot of typing. Eeeech. And then I will sort it into neat little binders! And burn it all (along with the music scraps I've composed) onto several CDs and give one to my friend to keep in case my house burns down. She will laugh at me but that's okay!!

· Clean as much of my room as is humanly possible. This is a frightening task, especially because I am quite emotionally attached to every object that has ever passed before my eyes.

· Do some research for my socials studies speech ... The fact that I had a dream about goofing this up makes me not want to think about it at all. At least it's a group project, I guess. Argh, how I despise demographics.

I hope that's it. Grr. I want to get this stuff over with. ¬¬

Also! Does anyone have any idea about whether or not $2800 is a good (decent?) for a two-week trip to Spain? When it comes to big amounts of money my brain hides from me. This $2800 I speak of may be more than the final price, actually, and the final price would include everything but money for souvenirs and such. Any thoughts are appreciated! <3
