Someone please tell me to stop worrying about everything! I think I just gave myself a stomachache. _-_

Post-secondary night at school tonight, but unless I finish this manuscript (or almost), I don't know if I can go ... >_<

Edit: I am reminded of the episode in which Malcolm gets an ulcer! Uh-oh. _-_

Edit 2: My dad gave us pens with pull-out maps. Says he, "It's for in case you get lost!" Says my brother, "Is it a map of Victoria?" Says my father, "No, it's of Taiwan." I LAUGHED SO HARD I NEARLY PUKED. Then I found out he was telling the truth. Man, awesome! I got a map of Taiwan! In a pen!! XDXDXDXDXD

(Not going to the post-secondary thing anymore ... gotta finish this manuscript which is frustrating me so much!!!!!)

Edit 3: My friend who is ridiculously good at editing poems and making suggestions for them is at an event that ends at 9:25pm. So my other friend phones her asking for advice for the both of us and tells her not to phone if it's after 9:30pm, as that's when she goes to bed I know, it's absolutely ridiculous. WHAT THE--? WHO CARES WHAT TIME IT IS!! MY MANUSCRIPT NEEDS HELP!!!!! Derya, Sam, if either of you are online, please comment or MSN me or SOMETHING!!!! Because you are also poetic masters and I am not. _-_

Edit 4: Seven poems down, two (or three) to go!

Edit 5: Looks like I'm gonna be okay! :) I found a couple poems I had forgotten I had, and I like them and they were definitely easier to edit than the one I was struggling with when I went berserk about the 9:30pm business. *cough* Haha. ^^;; Gonna get off the computer and work my butt off on a poem that seems to want a total rewrite. Guess I'll get up early tomorrow to type it up. It's all good. :) So I am not unbelievably frustrated anymore. XD;;;

aw, sorry Sarah, I was fast asleep. :(
I'm glad you've sorted it out though. reminds me of when I was trying to write iambic pentameter and tearing my hair out.

I did figure you'd either be asleep or at school. ^^; But that's all right. :D I have never tried to write iambic pentameter, but I am sure it would be totally difficult. :X Does that one have to rhyme, or it is just the rhythm thing? 10 syllables per line? I am terrible at remembering poetry structure things, especially since I learned most of it from presentations people did in English class last year. *hides* I am a slacker poet all the way! XD;

And I don't know if I can submit anything to Opus this month! I have an idea but I'm not sure how it will work and I think it's too late for me to start on it and arrrgh this week has been so frustrating for me. *falls over* Soon it will be the weekend, I can't wait~ ^_~;

Hmm, do you say "at school" when you mean "attending your classes at uni"? Because that's what I meant. Haha. :P

you don't have to rhyme in iambic, no. you have to have 10 syllables per line, alternating between one stressed and one unstressed, and I think you start with unstressed. anyway, I was trying to write a speech for Orsino from Twelfth Night so I was trying to figure out which words Shakespeare stressed and which he didn't. but he wasn't consistent about it, the bastard! :P and it was past midnight and I was very frantic and very sick of it all.

and don't worry about Opus, I haven't had time to think about it, what will all the writing I've been doing, and when I last checked no one had submitted anything anyway. :P I think it might be an idea if I "spread the word" about it a bit. heh. but I suppose I'll just extend the deadline a month, classic Global Wave style (which Dad has also half-talked me into putting together). I am mad.

oh, and "school" is fine. even though if I think about it long enough, it sends a shiver down my spine. :P I suppose I usually say, "at a lecture". but as i only have about 8 hours of lectures + seminars and have wednesday and friday free, most likely I'll be asleep. hehe. I've been doing lots of that! yay! :D
