So I asked the consulate if there was any way I could have my passport back for a bit and they said yes!! I can come pick it up so long as I return it to them by the 22nd. AAAAAAAH!! This does mean I have to stop in Vancouver on my way to and from Seattle, which is a little annoying, but obviously not half as annoying as not getting to go at all, so YAY! :D

Thank you to everyone who has put up with my whining about this for the past two days~ xD <3

P.S. Any of you Victorians want to go to Seattle by way of Vancouver with me? xD

Well, this weekend is kind of short notice and sadly next weekend I am going north, so I think I will have to pull out.

Well I have to go on business days anyway, to get and drop off my passport. I don't really have high hopes of finding anyone who can go with me. :P

Also my mom just gave me a lecture on how impractical this whole thing is but aaaaaaaaaaaugh I wanna go so baaaaaaaaaad~~~

Well, if you mean financially impractical, I can't speak to that, but people go to Seattle on day trips all the time - I don't think it's logistically impractical at all. Considering you have to go through downtown Vancouver both ways, though, you might want to stop in a hotel rather than trying to do it all in one day.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking. Lots of people do it. :/

I'm not super thrilled with the idea of spending the money to stay in a hotel in Vancouver, but if I do that then I could take the train to Seattle in the morning, and everything I've read about going from Vancouver to Seattle without a car suggests that the train is the best way to do it!
