arishaSuper short and only a little bit spoilery (but I'll cut it anyway) first thoughts on Toy Story 3 before I run back to the theatre to start my shift aaaaaah~!!!
OH MY GOD THAT WAS THE MOST INTENSE MOVIE I HAVE SEEN PERHAPS EVER.
I mean I know you're all going to take that with a grain of salt because my taste in movies is often the same as a five-year-old's, but to better put it in perspective, yesterday I watched a movie about the Hiroshima bombing that was less intense than this!!
I just seriously! It has been an hour since the movie ended and I am still not over it omggggg. Obviously I have way more love for Toy Story and its characters than I ever realized. Well I mean, there was a month or two where my brother and I watched the first movie literally every day, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. lol, although I WAS surprised when I was all "omg I loved when they used dialogue from the first movie!" and![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
the_wykydtron replied, "They used dialogue from the first movie?" WHAT KIND OF CHILD OF THE '90S ARE YOU!!!
Okay I guess I'll leave all my ~deeper~ and more spoilery thoughts for a longer letter later, but basically this movie was awesome and you should all go see it.
(... And I'm so glad Pixar hasn't managed to infect this franchise with its unique brand of mediocre movie-making. I know I'm the only person in the world who dislikes Pixar but I stand proudly by that position!)
Also, we got to watch the Tangled trailer but apparently there was a mix-up of some kind because we watched it in FRENCH. xD
