lol oh how I fail at LJ lately. Anyway:

Day 04 - A song that reminds you of someone

I don't feel like being deep tonight so I'm gonna keep this simple. Plus I haven't bugged the_wykydtron about her French studying lately, so here's a song in French just for her. xD Isabelle Boulay's "C'était l'hiver":

The summer I was sixteen, I lived in Winnipeg for a month of French immersion through a program run by the Canadian government. I had a total blast, and frequently feel a little sad that I've only managed to keep in contact with one of the friends I made there (my friend A who I sometimes mention mysteriously). One of the last things we did at this program was a talent show, and at this show my roommate, Angelique, sang this song, which I really liked and listened to a billion times when I got home. The last I heard of Angelique, she was trying to get into singing professionally. I definitely think she had the voice for it but then what do I know. Anyway, whenever I hear this song I think of Angelique and everyone else on the program. <3

(Je finis mes exercises dans le cahier, mais je ne peux pas ecrire les phrases. C'est tres penible, mais je pense que je parlerai mieux quand je suis a Montreal. J'espere.)
