So, uh, remember how in my last sponsorship entry I said it would be my last entry on that topic until the new year? Well, guess what I got in the mail yesterday!

This is Joseline! I started sponsoring her this past July. She's four years old and she lives in Ecuador with her parents and younger sister. And she likes Spongebob! :O

Because Joseline doesn't yet know how to write, her mother writes her letters, and recently she mentioned that her husband lost his job - the family's only source of income. So I decided to send a small Special Gift donation to hopefully help them out a bit during this rough time.

The family received a blender and towels, as well as clothing and a pair of sandals for Joseline. Her mother wrote: The socks, pants, t-shirts, sandals are going to be very useful as the ones she had were not good on her anymore. The blender is very useful to prepare the juices before she goes to school.

The letter continues with a story: Let me tell you that she had an open house in school and she participated in painting an animal. The animal was a pig; she painted it and won the first place. She is happy because of this. Whoa, awesome!

I think she's wearing one of her new shirts in this pic. Also, I enjoy that I have the same taste in shoes as a four-year-old. xD

In other news, thanks to another amazingsauce donation, Keyly's Fundraiser has now reached 36%! :D

In tooootally unrelated news, today while flipping channels I caught a clip of a local talent show where two guys were dancing to "Heartbreaker." AWESOME SONG I NEVER THOUGHT I'D HEAR ON TELEVISION!!

Oh my gosh your sponsor child is so adorable!!

IKR?! xD The entire time I was writing this entry I was thinking OH MY GOSH LOOK AT THIS CHILD AND HOW ADORABLE SHE IS!!!

My sponsored children in Zambia and the Philippines write to me in English, but the ones in South America write in Spanish and then their letters are translated on their way to me. Which is cool, I like trying to read the Spanish. xD

That's so awesome that you got a Christmas card from her!! :D
