So I definitely used my carbon tax rebate in exactly the way it isn't supposed to be used, but I was in the mood to throw money at two of my favourite web sites. xD For the first time ever I have a halo on my NaNoWriMo profile, woohoo! Maybe this will act as motivation to actually finish this year ... but I doubt it. :P

I am also taking bets on how many of my thirty-five icons I actually use, and how soon I regret purchasing them, lol. xD But oh well, going out and collecting them all provided me with a couple hours of distraction last night that I would've otherwise spent just whining about how sick I am. So. :D (Hilariously enough, I think I've actually used like half of these icons before, but I never keep icons so I had to go out and find them all again!!)

Nothing much else to report except I watched Dead Man's Chest the other day for the first time in an unusually long time, and so now Pirates is back to being my favourite thing ever. <3 I have Pirates of the Caribbean on my nametag at work (we have our favourite movies on our nametags), and the other day a guest asked me why I like it so much. I was just like, seriously, I could write an entire book on why I love this trilogy so much, don't ask me such a question when I'm trying to keep the line moving!! xD <33

It looks like someone just left that computer on a French keyboard setting, surely you can find a way to change it back. It should be in the taskbar or something.

Aeneas/Cassandra would be SO HARD. All that RESEARCH. Ugh.

hahahahahahaha lolling foreverrr~ xD I love that you are "UGH"ing about reading about my most favouritest thing to read about, hahaha! Seriously, Shannon, you don't have to do any research! Just call me whenever you have a question. xD

And yes, I did know that. Pretty well none of the Trojan women get a happy ending. Although I've read one novel that just didn't include the rape and another novel that did but then allowed Cassandra to escape before Agamemnon could claim her.

Well, I am apparently too dumb for language keyboards, OKAY? GOD!

Dude, I'm so harshed about that Agamemnon thing - I *liked* Agamemnon! Seriously! LEAVE CASSANDRA ALONE!!! This is just as bad as finding out that Terry Gilliam and Tilda Swinton signed the Polanski petition.

Well if you are writing Aeneas/Cassandra, you could make use of Aeneas' escape from Troy and have her waiting by the exit with him? Or you could bring Helenus in and somehow have him get her out? Or you could have her escape through her own sheer awesomeness?

FINE you do not have to write Trojan War fic if you don't want to. >:(

(And re: Polanski - don't read this week's Maclean's unless you would like to be angry for a while.)

Thanks for the heads-up - I run into Maclean's on about a bi-monthly basis, so I'll avoid it this time.

I am currently trying to figure out how an Aeneas/Cassandra fic would work if it were set in Revolutionary France.
