So people keep posting picspams of Michael Jackson in Disney parks, and as you might imagine I am totally down with this, one of the reasons being they are often posted without context and I like to test my skillz at figuring out which Disney park is being depicted. I'd seen photos that could be easily identified as having been taken in Disneyland, in the Magic Kingdom, and in Disneyland Paris, but I hadn't seen any that struck me as Tokyo Disneyland, leaving me to wonder if he ever made it there. (Does this become more weird or less weird when I confess I wonder the same thing about basically anyone ever?)

Then the other night I came across this gif in a party post:

And of course my first reaction was OMG MJ ON SPACE MOUNTAIN RIGHT CLICK SAAAAAVE!!!!

My second reaction was to watch it cycle through a couple times in an attempt to identify which park he's in. The two women in the seat behind him look like they might be Japanese, but I couldn't see anything more substantial that would tell me what park it is and so I gave up. :(

But the next time someone posted this gif, I looked harder and found a clue! At the end of the part where he's walking with Mickey, right as it fades out, at the very right of the gif appears ...

THE BICYCLE PIANO!!!!!

Mystery solved. :)

Man, I was ridiculously happy when Dad and I ran into the bicycle pianist. xD He was such a goofball, too, haha; whenever his little audience applauded he'd say, "Minna subarashii ne!" Actually, it was kind of interesting because he was perhaps the only non-Japanese entertainer we saw in the parks who didn't speak English to his audience. GOD I COULD WRITE AN ENTIRE THESIS ON THIS STUFF YOU HAVE NO IDEA

LOL. It'd be pretty expensive, unless you got some awesome annual pass and such. Of course, the way to guarantee you go there pretty much every day is to work there FT. ;] And, since you're an employee, you gain free entry on your days off, too...so you can, actually, be there every single day if you really wanted to be.

I used to work at Universal, actually. I didn't really enjoy it much, but it was retail experience, and I made some money. (It was also across the street from my HS, which helped.)
