30. Kamikaze Girls, 2004
Oh my goodness did I love this movie! I didn't even expect to like it but it ended up being pretty amazing. When I grow up I totally want to be Momoko; I love how she tried to present this image of being delicate but she was actually really tough and sometimes kinda mean. >xD
Yoko Kanno wrote the music for this movie which I totally didn't even realize! And also I love the line "Rococo no kokoro" because it is a palindrome! Ahaha, I love that this movie taught me a little bit about French history while simultaneously being perhaps the most Japanese movie I have ever seen. xD
31. Millennium Actress, 2001
This was directed by the same guy as Paprika, and yeah, I don't think I'll be seeking out any more of his work. :/ In a way this movie reminded me of Summer of My German Soldier (ahaha oh the embarrassing books I read in middle school!), except without all the plot. What I am trying to say is that this movie is an hour and a half of the same exact scene over and over. And also was the least romantic thing ever.
32. Splendor in the Grass, 1961
This movie was recommended to me by one of my managers in a Facebook conversation about movies with depressing endings. And then I built it up so much in my head that by the time I finally got around to watching it, it didn't depress me at all. xD; I can't decide whether or not I liked it, though. Well I did enjoy watching it; it has lots of that gender role goodness I find so interesting. And Natalie Wood's performance was pretty awesome, I kind of loved the scene where her mother asks her if she's been "spoiled." (Oh, old movies and your euphemisms!)
The overdubbing in this movie was AWFUL, though, oh my god. D: Gotta love the parts where Wood's mouth moved after she had finished saying her line, what the heck.
Edit: The cast of Spongebob dubs scenes from Casablanca, Singin' in the Rain and The Godfather. Ahahaha this video is hilarious! Why can't Patrick's voice be in every movie ever, it is truly a thing of beauty. xD

PS: You watched One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest with my in Psych, didn't you? That's my kind of depression

I have never seen One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest! The semester we had Psych was also the semester where I was out of school for three weeks so I guess maybe I missed it. I do not know much about that movie but I am fairly sure I would never want to watch it. D:
