A few days after receiving the report on the Special Gift that I sent to Mercy, I sent one to Kelvin. The day before yesterday I received the report. :) Kelvin is six years old and lives in Zambia, and his mother is raising three kids on less money a month than I make in an hour. So ... remind me never to complain about my life again. ://

The report says that Kelvin received new clothing and a new pair of shoes, as well as two blankets and some food supplies which I'm thinking the whole family will share. And now for more of my amateurly scanned (and hosted by Photobucket) pictures! :D

Also: SUPER BREAKFAST!?!? I don't know what it is, but with a name like that, it has to be good. xD



The photos don't come with captions or anything, so I'm not entirely certain who the women in this picture are. My guess is that one is Kelvin's mother and one is perhaps a CI employee, or a relative or a family friend or someone like that. haha, my guess is very broad. x);



He's holding his new shoes in this one. :)

(I think this picture is ADORABLE but I don't think six-year-old boys like to be referred to as adorable so I shall refrain from stating so. xD; )

Kelvin got to colour the Zambia-representing rhinocerous too, only guess what! He coloured it PINK! xD hahaha I like this kid. xD

In completely unrelated news, I watched Muppet Treasure Island today. Best part of that movie? Hans Zimmer did the score. BWAHAHAHAHAHA!!! xDDD And also omg I adore the opening song. Forget Japanese Language and Literature, it's become TOTALLY OBVIOUS that I should've majored in PIRACY!!!!! >xDDDDD

I don't think boys of any age like to be called adorable. It's only that when they're three, they don't know what you're saying. ^^;

EVERYBODY SHOULD MAJOR IN PIRACY. (Seriously, I did a paper on piracy once, and it was the most fun paper evar.)
