1) Morning Musume's latest PV, "Mikan," was uploaded to their site a couple days ago. I think this is my least favourite of their 2007 singles - by which I mean I quite like it, but it doesn't really compare to the pure AWESOMENESS that is "Kanashimi Twilight," let's be honest here. xD
Anyway, my favourite thing about "Mikan" is how it makes me realize that wow, I really love the current MoMusu line-up. <3 I feel kind of like, for the first time in a long while, they feel like a really cohesive group. Like it's the right number of members and they're the right mix of ages and voices and blablabla whatever, and most of all they really give off the feeling that they're all really wonderful friends. xD Like, in a way, it's kind of nice for the rest of the girls to be free of the shadow that was Yossie and Miki, who were definitely assets to the group but in a way they just kept reminding us that they're a product of an earlier era of H!P. If that makes any sense. Just that it's kind of nice to see fifth gen without having to be constantly reminded that fourth gen was better (or a lot of fans seem to consider them better, at least). (Ishiyoshi 4eva!!)
Okay that paragraph ended kinda negative when all I really wanted to say was CURRENT MOMUSU ROCKS!!!! XDDD
(hahaha, I just noticed what Linlin does during Reina's "Oh yeah! One time!" xDDD hahaha ADORABLE.)
Anyway, so between "Mikan" and All Singles Complete I have been totally fangirling over MoMusu for the past week. xD Here is how much I love MoMusu: I am going to Tokyo next spring but cannot know the date any more precisely than that until their tour dates are posted. YES I AM SCHEDULING MY ENTIRE TRIP AROUND A GIRL GROUP, YOU GOT A PROBLEM WITH THAT???? xDDD
(And if you are wondering: yes of course I intend to partake of Tokyo Disneyland's twenty-fifth anniversary festivities!! xDD It is actually very fortuitious timing, hehe.)
2) Disney's Enchanted comes out in eleven days (ten days for me, suckers!!! xDD ) and I am STUPIDLY excited. Check out "Happy Working Song" and how it TOTALLY pulls a "Sing, Sweet Nightingale." Basically, what I am trying to say is this movie is going to have to try VERY hard to disappoint me, no matter how ridiculous it turns out to be. xDDD
