in which sarah needs a chill pill
Nov. 25th, 2010 01:39 amJust broke 25k on my NaNo2010, so according to my NaNo2006 schedule I am two days ahead! Which feels pretty awesome even though I'm still behind where I should be, haha. Now to get this JET app out of the way (hopefully mailing it off tomorrow? with thanks to everyone who suffered through my SoP!!) so I can focus on winning!
Non-JET plans for tomorrow: last ESL class of the semester :( then hopefully writing a scene I can use for an excerpt! I haven't posted a single excerpt this year and it's kind of giving me pains, but apparently I am really self-conscious about the idea that my co-workers might read my awful first draft writing, who knew?!
ALSO HAVE YOU GONE TO SEE TANGLED YET?!
SERIOUSLY I WOULD REALLY LIKE SOMEONE TO TALK ABOUT IT WITH OVER HERE
In other Disney news, my dream game Epic Mickey comes out on Tuesday and I'm planning on buying it as my prize for winning NaNoWriMo. :D (And then playing it straight through the week and never ever studying for the JLPT again, apparently!) My brother has informed me that it's been receiving lackluster reviews, but I just don't see how a game that makes such wonderful things could be bad. Maybe these reviewers are just not in the target audience of people who a) freak out every time they see Oswald the Lucky Rabbit and b) try to reference at least one Disney movie in every LJ entry they write. I mean, I dunno, but maybe!
