Jan. 20th, 2005 03:59 pmToday my replacement Troy came wahahahaha! And also I got myself my very own copy of La guerre de Troie n'aura pas lieu for only three dollars! That is almost as cool as the time I got The Trojan Women for only ten cents*, yet not quite. Yay awesome! It is extra fantastic because the guy on the front, I think he is supposed to be Hector, but he seriously looks like Luke Skywalker. Awesome awesome!
Next thing you know I'll be wanting to be a GRS major again. I, much like Holden Caulfield, go in circles.**
* I also got Home is the Hunter for seventy-five cents. Trojan War-related literature for bargain prices? Basically my favourite thing ever.
** Did I seriously get rid of the essay I wrote on this? Because it was awesome.*** "Holden has a record. A record is a circle. Holden goes in circles." "Holden falls into a pond. A pond is a circle. Holden goes in circles." Man, seriously, how on earth did I pass English 12? I never even read Jane Eyre.
*** As is the fanfiction I wrote for The Crucible, which I still have and think is an absolute riot. It was a legitimate assignment but I prefer to call it "fanfiction" because it's funnier. Let's admit it, that play was a bit of a joke before I even touched it.**** XDXDXDXDXDXD
**** Now you see why I am not going into English teachery, hahahahaha. XDXD;;;;;;
