(no subject)

I've been letting a couple of my friends read my NaNoWriMo novel, right, and it's kind of like they get a special preview because they see everything even before I type it up, heehee. ;) But today, as one of them was finishing reading what I had for chapter four, she started asking questions about where it's going and stuff.

Her: "So, are they going to go to Hikane at any point, or is it all going to happen in Mocar?"
Me: "No, they go to Hikane eventually . . ."
Her: "Oh, and I bet [MAJOR SURPRISE PLOT POINT] happens too, right?"
Me: "Oh, bother . . ."

But she says she likes how I show the culture bit-by-bit, through little descriptions. That is cool, especially considering that's the part of the story I planned the least. Haha. XD~

Today after school I went to the rehearsal of this year's school musical and was in charge of the sound. For much of the two hours I was there I was struggling to find that perfect spot where the volume is loud enough, but not feeding back. Once I found it I snuck out. HAHAHA I bet the musical theater teacher is going to kill me. *weep*

I have to go write my novel's first candy bar scene now. I kept talking about it today -- "See, I stopped there because it's just before a candy bar scene," "Yahoo, now I get to write my candy bar scene!" -- and I think my friends thought I was talking about including a series of scenes that were actually about candy bars. Heehee, more people should know silly writing terms like that. XD~~
