My Reading Break is not the Reading Break I would have preferred, although it is indeed the Reading Break I could have predicted. In light of this, I have decided to revise my to-do list. Allow me to present to you ...

¡Sarah's New & Improved Reading Break 2006 To-Do List!
· sleep until 2pm whenever possible - CHECK!
· get caught up with Animal Crossing - CHECK!
· spend hours upon hours watching my brother play Spider-man 2 - CHECK!
· get hooked on Katamari Damacy - CHECK!
· watch six billion trillion hours of Escaflowne - CHECK!
· eat a full bag of popcorn every day - CHECK!
· candy candy candy - CHECK!

Man, would ya look at that. According to my new and revised to-do list, I am spending this Reading Break being insanely productive.

TABLEAU!

Co-worker: Let me take those off your hands. Get it? Get it? Because they're gloves? ... Off your hands? Get it? Do you get it yet? Because they're gloves? ... ... I'm so clever.

Co-worker: "Fanta." It's like "Santa," but with an "F."

Sarah: Oh, you even wrote "Fanta" on your cup so you know what it is.
Co-worker: Yeah, and I even wrote the Spanish ... uh ...
Sarah: Exclamation marks?
Co-worker: ... yeah.
(This plus my supervisor's "Write 'quesadilla thing' on the whiteboard, but don't worry about the accents or anything" makes me think I am going to be the only one who is bothered by our upcoming "mucho mucho tacos" sign.)

Co-worker: Everyone, I've made a very important decision! I've decided I'm not going to UVic next year.
Sarah: You told me that on Sunday.
Co-worker: ... I know?

And then he told us the story of how his band played at a middle school and after the performance he found himself surrounded by eighth-grade girls wanting to know his name and telling him he was awesome. Of course my supervisor and I could not leave this piece of hilarity alone. He and I are rivals anyway so it doesn't matter. You should have seen me the other day, I was practically punching him out!!

Also, I wonder if I will ever ever find myself sick of "Special Generation," because I know I get a little bit obsessive about songs sometimes, but I don't remember the last time I was so obsessed with a song for like three months, man oh man. (Although I have yet to see a live performance of this song that doesn't suck.)
