I guess it is about time I posted a real entry. I never got around to writing about how, last Friday, it rained so hard you could see the framework of the gym from outside the building and across the field. >_< And the rain got into the school and short-circuited something, which caused the fire alarm to go off in the middle of band (which is a class that takes place outside of the regular school day, in the morning). We stood outside for a good half hour. I took my flute and its case and my music folder out with me, hahaha. By the end they were very very wet! As kids started to arrive for the start of school, they were directed to the back field where the wet of us were standing miserably, and clumps started to form around those who had umbrellas. My friend and I caught sight of a teacher we hadn't seen since last year, and so we went to go stand with him and the other teachers he was standing with. They are actually pretty funny people, and one of them had this bright orange tarp thing that we all gathered under. o.O; Kind of weird, hahaha. Also I think the chess club or the physics club or something were meeting before school, too, and they looked pretty miserable as well.
I saw my brother when he arrived and at least he had a hood on. ;_;
When we were allowed back into the school I debated getting my coat but decided I wouldn't need it, there was no way the alarm would go off again. Then, just as I got to English class, it did. _-_ So now imagine the entire student body standing outside in record rainfall. It was kind of fun because it was different and everything, but still, it was very very wet!! One of the guys in my English class gave me his coat to wear, awww. And one of the girls took my books (I was very stupid to have brought them out. That's okay) and put them into her backpack. The people in my school are so unbelievably nice!! *^_^*
When we got back into the school, at long last, the band kids had been outside for about an hour. In record rainfall! The student council organized some thing where you could go get a Timbit and a cup of hot chocolate, but I figured the whole school would be there in one little room trying to get food and I wasn't going to bother. >_< Especially as my writing teacher wanted us to get to class right away. She did make us tea, though, and while I'm not a fan of tea I put lots of French vanilla and lots of sugar into it and enjoyed it quite a bit. ;)
I wore my coat for the rest of the day after that. Just in case. ^^;; It was a wonder I didn't catch cold, but also a very good thing. ;)
Now I have work to do! XD
