THIS ENTRY IS NOTHING BUT FANGIRLING

FOR WHICH I DO NOT APOLOGIZE

YOU GUYS I have been so frustrated with Morning Musume lately. I hate to be one of those people who's all "THE MEMBERS CHANGED AND THAT SUCKS" because Morning Musume has always had changing members and surely I should be used to it by now, but - the members changed and that sucks!!! It just feels like over a very brief period of time, I went from loving almost everyone in the group to being completely indifferent to NINE OF THEM. I hate that so many new members were added in such a short space of time. Yes, even knowing that this happened in the past with excellent results. With Risa leaving this year, my love of the current group with be based pretty much entirely on Reina and Sayumi, and that SUCKS because their time in the group is probably limited now too. I really WANT to keep loving current Morning Musume!!! Hopefully the new members endear themselves to me at the concerts next weekend, although um I'm not super happy about the set list either. Only five singles? And one of them is my least favourite Morning Musume song ever?? Tsunku what are you doing to meeeeeeeeeee

Oh by the way I have totally failed at my promise to properly post about the H!P concerts I have been to so far, but a quick summary:

Dream Morning Musume: PERFECTION. Easily the best concert of my life. I also had an amazing seat and am 90% sure that when I say Yuko waved at me, I am not just being a delusional fangirl. <3 <3 <3 I pretty much went to this concert for Yossie, Rika and Koharu, but seriously everyone was amazing. And also I wish I had half of the energy that Mako does!! I was seriously crushed to get home from this and read that DMM is only going to be a temporary group. I mean, yeah, but stilllllllll ;_; ;_; ;_;

Hello! Project: I don't get the appeal of either S/mileage or Mano Erina so that was a whole chunk of the concert that I was bored by. (Although watching Buono sitting on the side making up a dance to S/mileage's new songs was amusing haha.) Was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed watching Kikkawa Yuu perform "Konna Watashi de Yokattara." Seriously that was like my favourite new song of the concert. Enjoyed seeing Berryz and C-ute but wished there was more of them. They did a medley together that would have been awesome but every time I thought they were about to sing one of my favourite songs they stopped after like two lines. ;_; I was glad to see Risa, Reina and Sayumi but other than that, see the aforementioned current issues I have with MoMusu. Also there was a guy who came out at one point dressed in a ridiculous disco outfit and I have no idea who he actually was but I really wanted him to pull off his fake afro and reveal himself to be Tsunku. JUST ANOTHER DAY IN THE LIFE OF J-POP'S GREATEST TROLLLLL

you guys

you guys

I really want to stay a fan of H!P

why is it so hard lately ;_; ;_; ;_;

~AND NOW FOR SOMETHING COMPLETELY DIFFERENT~

Since arriving in my town, once every couple of months I have done a bit of Googling in an attempt to see if there were any MJ fan events happening that I could go to. Yes I'm ridiculous but right now I do not care!! These searches always ended in failure until today, when I FINALLY hit on the right keywords and discovered that for like seven years now there has been an ~MJ Dance Party~ held in Osaka in spring and one held in Tokyo in summer. I know nothing of clubs and I know nothing of dance parties and I highly doubt I'll be able to find anyone to go with me so I'm really afraid that I'm going to wuss out at the last minute, but I really need to force myself to go because THIS IS COMPLETELY AMAZING. Apparently they're like five hours long and even include live performances!!! This year's Osaka party is on the day after I come back from Hong Kong, so in theory I'll be geographically halfway there but I also anticipate feeling pretty broke. (But you guys!! They used the Bad tour for the title image!! The Bad tour is my only weakness.) Well if I can't make it to that one I definitely want to go to the Tokyo one. I mean they even have a birthday cake!! hahahahaha AMAZING.

I tried YouTubing these parties but I haven't been able to find that many good videos. Uh, here's one where you can skip to 9:20 to hear "Blame it on the Boogie" being performed with an acoustic guitar. Interesting choice!! xD
