Yeah, Level 4 is so elementary that there's not a lot of point in taking it, imo. Fun fact, though: one of my high school Japanese teachers only knew enough Japanese to pass Level 4. It was ... an interesting class. :/
The JLPT isn't that terrible, it's all multiple choice so you don't even have to write anything yourself, haha. But at the same time, yeah. I really need to study. D:
