But then later I noticed that at some point in the scene where Jafar takes over Agrabah, Al loses his shoes, in preparation to transform back into a street rat. And so I was like, well perhaps it's the prince clothing that's making him all clumsy! And he took off his shoes because he's not used to wearing them and so he can't run as well, or something, and he wants to be able to move better! hahaha look at me all justifying these silly little details. xDDD"
