"Barbossa is Hungry" (Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl)
I feel like I only just recently realized the awesomeness of this score and the scene it goes to (the ship battle). xD Also, man, when you listen to this movie's soundtrack, this is like the only piece that actually sounds different from the others. Most repetitive soundtrack evar. @_@ And yet I love it so. xD <3 I also love Escaflowne, and so I adore this "Barbossa is Hungry" Escamovie AMV. <3 <3 <3 <3
"Dance, Dance" (Fall Out Boy)

the_wykydtron I was listening to a Fall Out Boy song, I believe she said something along the lines of she would never speak to me again. But I have had a slowly growing adoration for this song for like a year and now I just love it. And it's in DDR Supernova and hahaha man I could probably do the steps in my sleep. xDD I love it when way catchy songs are matched with way depressing lyrics!! XD
Also, I swear this song's Wikipedia page once had a line about how "I'm two quarters and a heart down" is not a reference to Legend of Zelda. Hahahahaha FANTASTIC! XD
Anyway, here's a "Dance, Dance" Whose Line is it Anyway? video and a "Dance, Dance" PotC video ("if they knew how misery loved me" + Norrington = PERFECT), if you're into that sort of thing. xD;
"How Far We've Come" (Matchbox 20)
athena_crikey once mentioned knowing or liking songs just because she'd heard them in AMVs, and that seems to be what has happened with me and this song. xD; I heard this song on the radio a couple days ago and felt strangely attached to it, without being able to recall ever hearing it before. Then I realized! I had watched this PotC video and that's how I knew it and that's why I liked it! Hahaha, I just think it's really interesting that I would probably take no notice of this song but that I was first introduced to it through this video that features the last movie from my most very favourite trilogy. <33333
"Melissa" (Porno Graffitti)
I have been binging on my FMA DVDs these past two days, so. XD The first episodes aren't my favourites but "Melissa" remains my favourite opening. (If anyone cares, which no one does, I would rank them thusly: "Melissa," "Rewrite," "Ready, Steady, Go," "Undo." They're all awesome though! "Kesenai Tsumi" is the only ending I really like, which is a shame! :( ) I kind of think it's another song that sounds pretty happy but actually has lyrics that are pretty sad. I think it fits the series really well. And that's about all I have to say about it. xD; I like it with the opening animation better than I like its music video, but that's probably to be expected, since that's how I was introduced to it. :3
"Tokaikko Junjou" (C-ute)
This song is not as awesome as I was led to believe before I heard it, and I imagine that if I ever got the chorus stuck in my head, it would drive me insane. The only reason I have been listening to this song over and over is because omg the PV is completely unlike any other H!P PV from the past two years. The only one that I can think of that's comparable is MoMusu's "Aruiteru," which I have never watched in its entirety because that song drives me up the wall. And don't get me wrong, there are a bunch of way budget H!P PVs that I adore ("Special Generation," "Osaka Koi no Uta," "Kanashimi Twilight" ...). But "Tokaikko Junjou" looks like they spent more than ten minutes working on it! They are outside! In more than one location! At more than one time of day! There is actual effort in the editing! They even shelled out the money for a baseball!!!!! (I quite like the shots of Maimi throwing it at the end.) This blows my braaaaaains!!!!! XDXDXDXD
So I guess after talking about it so much, I should probably link to it, huh? xD;
"U + Ur Hand" (Pink)
Guys, I feel like I am way too young and innocent to even listen to this song. xD;; But it played on the radio in the break room about a month ago and I like it despite myself. The music video isn't one of my favourites, though. :p
"Up is Down" (Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End)
I have taken to blasting my PotC soundtracks to get me through the homework I don't want to do, is (partially) why there are two PotC songs on this list. xD;; But the PotC3 soundtrack is seriously my favourite CD right now. It's mysteriously missing my most favourite bit of music from the movie, but even without that, it's so good. <3 <3 <3 (And awesome to blast when doing homework I don't want to do! XD ) Here's an "Up is Down" music video and, of course, "Up is Down" in context (and less than fantastic illegal quality)!! XD hahaha I love this part way too much. <3
YES I AM STILL OBSESSED WITH POTC MUCH TO THE CHAGRIN OF EVERYONE WHO HAS TO TALK TO ME EVERY DAY
