今夜の夢に笑顔のままで 出て来ないでよね

My brother took me to see Meet the Robinsons tonight and it was the best. :D I'll definitely write more about that tomorrow (last day of school~~!!), but you know I can barely survive if I don't write a post, haha, so here is a snippet of our conversation during the drive to the theatre. XD

Sarah: "Some guy I've only talked to once* added me on Facebook."
Brother: "Yeah, I hate that. Some people think Facebook is like Pokémon; you gotta catch 'em all."

And then later, as the previews were rolling (no PotC3 what the heck), he admitted to sometimes imagining how terribly awesome a live action Pokémon movie would be. XD XD XD XD Oh man, now they HAVE to make that!! I mean, they did live action Sailormoon, right? Pokémon is practically the next step!! XD XD Hahaha, sometimes I wonder what a live action Escaflowne would look like. Really I only even thought of the idea because of the trailer for X-Men 3, when that dude with the wings** came on and I was like "ZOMG IT'S VAN!!" and then was severely disappointed. But I don't even know. All this time and I still find it impossible to even imagine a live action Escaflowne. I have no idea where you would start ... (But if someone ever made it I would so totally watch it.)

SPEAKING OF DREADFUL ALTERNATE VERSIONS, today I saw the music video for "Peacock Princess," Jasmine's song in the upcoming Disney Princess Enchanted Tales DVD, and OH MY GOD. As low as I thought my expectations were, I think I will have to lower them still. You know in Aladdin, when the Sultan is flying on Carpet and Iago is trying to get out of the way and then he flies into a pillar? So in this music video there is a clip in which Iago flies into a wall and I swear they must have just traced that piece of animation, because his reaction is exactly the same. In the series there are some episodes (that are usually badly animated to begin with) where a character will do some sort of gesture and you can tell they looked to the original movie to copy that gesture, but it has never been so obvious as this. Well, if that was the only issue I had it wouldn't bother me too much, but alas. Jasmine and Iago don't even sound like themselves, it's weird. Like they're very slightly off what they're supposed to sound like. Maybe it was just the sound quality of the video file or something, I dunno. And just the whole thing, man, I dunno. I'm still looking forward to it but in sort of a cringing way. Why did they make Jasmine dance like that? It's so unnecessary ... -_-;

Okay, but I must be fair and admit that there is one part of the music video that I got a kick out of, and that is that this new story seems to focus on Jasmine and Iago. Ohoho! XD It's just like I told you guys! Jasmine and Iago, they are tight. And he TOTALLY has a crush on her, hahahahaha. I hope to be able to add this Disney Princess episode to my list of episodes where it's shown, hahaha, oh it amuses me so. XD (Especially in "Eye of the Beholder," the part where he's explaining why he chose to go to the marketplace with her instead of going off with the guys and she's all, "Love you too, Iago," and he gets all flustered, HA HA HA that part is gold, Jerry, gold!!! XD )

I do know that the above paragraph is intensely ridiculous. Just so you know I know. XD

THIS ENTRY WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SHORT ONE WHAT IS GOING ON XD

Oh, and new icons, yay! XD;

* I actually have no issue with this guy adding me, especially as I wrote on his wall and only hours later he wrote back, and his comment was longer than mine which never ever happens, you may have noticed. XD But I'm a little miffed that one of my elementary school classmates added me and has yet to reply to the message I sent him. I CAN TELL YOU'VE BEEN ONLINE, YOU PUNK, I CAN SEE YOUR UPDATES!!! :P

** I know his name but I like to say things like this just to bother people. :D Star Wars is easiest because people always talk about it. "What??" I ask, shocked. "Obi-Wan dies???" And then people get all angsty about it, oh gosh, it amuses me so. XD

I can't believe you just said that the episodes were badly animated! Take that back right this minute!! XD

Ah.. I LOVED the series of Aladdin. I wish they had new ones!

I haven't watched this video, but it sounds interesting. I don't know if I want to see it with the odd voices though. :P

Iago and Jasmine... I guess there is something going on there. What about the Iago/Abu pairing? Now THAT's gold Jerry, gold! :D

This is a late reply, so maybe you've seen the clip by now, but if you haven't and you want to, hehe, it can be found on this site (http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/animatedfilms/disneyprincessenchantedtales/); it's the "Sneak Peak of Jasmine's 'Peacock Princess' Music Video." Augh, I can't believe there's another five months to go before this DVD is released, haha, it feels like such a long wait ... XD XD XD;;

I had no idea you've seen the Aladdin series! XD I always write about it with the assumption that no one on my friends list has any clue what I'm talking about, hahaha. That's awesome! XD I do love it too, and I mean, I do think that for the most part it's fairly well animated, but there some episodes look TERRIBLE. "The Lost City of the Sun" is one that immediately springs to mind - Al's fight with Mozenrath in that one is pretty painful to watch, haha. I'm not really fond of the animation in "Eye of the Beholder" or "The War We War," either. (I don't know if you're familiar enough with the series to recognize episode titles, but I'll throw those out there just in case. ;) ) And it's episodes like that that seem to nab animation from the original film, is what I meant. Most of the series looks pretty good, it's just some episodes that make me cringe. :( Which is probably true of most animated series, it's just that Aladdin is the one I know the best and so I tend to pick on it, haha. In a loving way, of course! XD;

What about the Iago/Abu pairing?

Hahaha I love them! XD It's funny because when I was younger I don't think I liked watching them together very much, but now I think they are hilarious. Like a bizarre little comedy duo. XD I love the scene in "Love at First Sprite" where Iago is insistent that they are going to have a nice, formal meal and Abu totally ruins it, hahaha ... ^^;;;

Now THAT's gold Jerry, gold! :D

Yes, most definitely!! XD

Her voice sounds totally weird! I was cringing! lol.

I watched most of them when I was a lot younger, so that might explain my shock at your claim that the animation was bad. Haha.

I don't really remember the titles, but I remember "Love at First Sprite" from your description of it. I love that bit! XD

Abu & Iago are adorable. <3

I think disappointment was pretty much everyone's reaction for the entire X-3 film. Geez. Talk about rocks fall, everybody dies. Also I feel that I should point out, because this just amuses me so much, that the guy who voices Solid Snake (main character of the Metal Gear Solid games) wrote the screenplays for X-men and X-2. What the heck? I totally imagined him as some voice actor scraping by on bad jobs.

Also, cringe, angst.

What the heck?

That IS totally crazy. I know there are actors who write or direct, but a voice actor in a video game?? I've never expected any of them to have lives as exciting as that!

Also, cringe, angst.

Waitwaitwait. You mean Anakin ... and Darth Vader ... are the same person????
