This one bothered me for an entire bus ride home even though I kept guessing the movie it was from and then discarding that guess. A scene between two characters, both men, one of them cripplingly old and the other very young. The younger one does something that totally amazes the older one, but the praise he gives is really sort of adorable, like, "That's marvellous! Oh, that's charming!" The older character is sitting in a rocking chair and they are in a little gray room, and it's live action. It was . . . Amadeus! From the very beginning, when Salieri plays "Eine Kleine Nachtmusik" and the priest is totally impressed. Note that my brain switched their ages, haha. I was totally impressed when I realized this was from something I had been guessing all along. I thought it would be something much cooler than that. XD;
I was gonna point out how you got the characters mixed up, then I read your comment a little more carefully.. I do the same thing all the time, though with movies and tv shows. I have to just keep repeating the line in my head, and then eventually I get an idea of what the person sounds like, then eventually I get it. It drives me crazy, though. Thank God for IMDB!
