This evening I finished reading one of the books I got for Christmas, Mouse Tales: A Behind-the-Ears Look at Disneyland. The last chapter summarizes the successes and failures of the other Disney parks, and there's about a page given to Tokyo Disneyland, which includes this little gem:

Again, Disneylanders were sent to help open the new park and many Tokyo workers were trained at Disneyland. Language and culture differences provided some barriers. ... The Americans showed them how to sign autographs but, since the Japanese character for the "R" sound looks like an "L," one character spent the day signing "White Labbit."

Ahahahahahaha, wow. I don't even know where he got that from. Also note that this book has been reprinted several times since 1994 and such a ridiculous error still exists. I can see someone saying that レ looks like an "L" but that still doesn't stop this sentence from being wrong on so many levels.

Anyway, I just thought I'd share that with you!! XD;;

Also, today my brother came to me for help with his college application (which I didn't even know he was doing!!), and it warmed my little heart. :3
