So you remember how I went to Peru and when I came back everyone was all OMG WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO NOT HAVE ANY STORES and I had to be like guys, I was in Lima, it is a city of nine million people?

Well the other day I got a message from an acquaintance who is apparently doing an ~international scavenger hunt~ and has to find a picture of a vending machine in Japan that sells something other than food, drinks, electronics or tobacco, and she was wondering if I could go out and procure such a picture for her. At first I was just like, huh, she has no idea that I am in the inaka*, but now I am totally expecting that when I get home everyone will be all OMG WHAT WAS IT LIKE TO HAVE TRAINS GOING BY EVERY TWO SECONDS AND GO TO KARAOKE EVERY NIGHT AND DO ALL YOUR SHOPPING AT VENDING MACHINES and I will have to be like guys, Iwate has the second lowest population density in all of Japan!!

*Oh man I never told you guys about our welcome enkai where one of the guys who works at the BoE called our town the "inaka no inaka" bahahahahahahahaaaaa. I mean we have a shopping centre so it is really not that bad, but I still always think of him saying that and laugh~~~
