Sep. 15th, 2011 12:04 amSo I found out tonight that because my town's other two ALTs will be off doing things with their schools next week, I will be teaching our eikaiwa class all by myself!!!!
I would be rather less anxious about this except that of course this is the weekend I'm leaving town, so I'm not going to have as much time to prepare as I would like~~~~
Aaaaaaahhhhhhh!!!
Speaking of things we three ALTs do together once a week, on Monday we attempted to go teach our usual kindergarten lesson, but when we arrived they were practicing for their sports day. So we ended up just running relay races with them hahaha. The actual kindergarten sports day is next Friday and I predict it will be AWESOME.
Also, last night we had an earthquake (yeah I've already lost count of how many there've been since I've been here) and my cell phone didn't beep before like it's supposed to and I felt very lied to, the end.
... omg I just checked and I'm only teaching two classes tomorrow. EIKAIWA PLANNING HERE I COME~~~. Although the thought of doing it by myself will probably still be nerve-wracking no matter how much I plan. Ohhhhh well. There are two people in the class with very good English so I imagine they'll help me if I totally make a mess of things. :P
