Jan. 30th, 2011 02:19 amI seriously need to start keeping up with Morning Musume news again, I do not care for this ~checking in every few months only to be shocked by what I missed~ habit I have gotten into lately. I mean -- Aichan is graduating?!?!?! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO :( :( :(
Also I am kinda bummed that the ninth gen audition is already over; I was really hoping for an epic 5nin single in the interim between graduations and auditions. Oh well~.
Also also I bought their newest album off iTunes and the intro to the album version of "Onna to Otoko no Lullaby Game" kinda makes me want a whole orchestral album of Morning Musume singles. xD
(And if I left anyone in suspense when I failed to give my opinion on the conveyor belt sushi song: I love it, exactly as I predicted I would. xD )
In other news, I did two and a half hours of ESL volunteering on Thursday, and of course it was awesome! One of my favourite things about hanging out in these classes is seeing how a student's sense of humour can come through even when the vocabulary they have access to is pretty limited. For example, Domi decided to introduce me to the super talkative and outgoing José by saying "He is so shy. He never talks in class. You might think he is absent!" hahaha cute! xD
And completely unrelated to any of the above, I got my eyes checked this morning and learned that my eyesight is not getting as dramatically awful as I'd been fearing. I'm gonna get new lenses pretty soon but my new ones will only be very slightly different. So YAY.
