Nice and creepy, and the worldbuilding was awesome, but I felt like I'd heard the story a hundred times before. So I liked it, but I don't get why everyone's singing its praises. Also: this was the first time I've been in a theatre that was empty save for me and the friend I was with. Also also, we are still so beloved there that we got in for free. ;)
25. The Adventures of Don Juan, 1948
"All right guys, for our next picture we're going to use the story of Don Juan -- only we're going to turn it into a buddy comedy! No, wait, forget I said that, let's just make Robin Hood again. And make sure Flynn wears plenty of ridiculous costumes. Sequins will make a comeback!"
On a very related note, I hate when I look up a movie only to have Wikipedia inform me that an actor was "obviously" drunk while filming certain scenes. I can never tell.
