Jan. 9th, 2008 01:19 amTwo more reasons I am too dumb to be CMOM, both from last night's shift:
1) I locked my keys in the back room. ^^; Says my manager, "It's going to be one of THOSE nights, is it?"
2) I rammed the treasury cart into the Waterhorse standee! I was arguing with a co-worker about whether or not I would be able to take him in a fight (this guy is famous for accidentally beating up someone who was trying to mug him xD; ), and I was totally not looking where I was going, and then suddenly I was bouncing off of something. hahahaha sorry Mr. Waterhorse!! xD;
And I went to bed in what I thought was good time but then I slept till three today, right through both of my classes. Like, without even really being all that tired, and without really realizing what I was doing ... gosh I dunno. Some days I am just messed up I guess. :///
Well also I am much more focused on work right now than I am on school. Today was my second of two treasury-only shifts, and oh wow it is so much easier to do treasury when you are not expected to be in box office as well. I am feeling SO much more confident about being a treasurer, it's ridiculous. Well at the beginning of my shift I wasn't feeling very confident, because my managers had me running all over the place bringing more tills and more pinpads and so I felt very scatter-brained for a while, but then it calmed down a lot and I finished my shift only ten minutes later than I was scheduled to, yay! :) And K was working tonight, and she made me the most sickeningly sweet parfait you've ever seen hahaha, and gave it to me for free even though it technically cost more than five dollars. xDDD Awsm!
Okay I was going to write more but now I don't feel like it. TOO BAD FOR YOU! xD;
Oh, but one more thing: I remembered (just barely) to ask for the day of my birthday party off of work, but I forgot to ask off for my actual birthday. So now I have a seven-and-a-half hour treasury shift on my birthday!! xD;; hahaha SARAH FOR THE LOSE!
Also VeggieTales: The Pirates Who Don't Do Anything comes out this Friday (it's listed as "PWDDA" in the box office tills which I think is dumb) and I have already figured out a way to see it between class and work xD and even if it's not awesome I am going to act like it is. BUT WHO AM I KIDDING, OF COURSE IT WILL BE AWESOME.
If it includes just one PotC reference that will pretty well make my world. xD
(not including the PotCariffic trailer, I guess. xDD; )
A story I forgot to tell: for a while, We Own the Night was listed in our tills as We Pwn the Night, and it was pretty well the best thing ever.
