I guess I will make this a short entry to give your friends lists a break. XD

Today athena_crikey and I went to see the Spanish movie Volver. I had no idea what it was going to be about or how I would like it, but I really enjoyed it. I suspect that it has the potential to give one flashbacks to the Japanese movie Freeze Me, but I skipped the day my class watched that so I was okay. XD I haven't watched a movie in Spanish for a while so that was nice. And I had never seen a Penelope Cruz movie before but she was really good. I liked her hairstyles, hahaha. And how at the beginning I thought her character was all prim and proper but then she started using all this vulgar language, I thought that was kind of funny. XD;;;;

Then I came home and my dad informed me that not two minutes earlier, there had been a phone call for me. I correctly guessed that it was my friend A, returned from her Christmas in Kamloops! And then because I like to do ridiculous things like go to the movies twice in one day, I went with her to see A Night at the Museum. Hahaha, oh gosh you guys, only me. If I had to pick either Volver or Museum to recommend to someone, I would probably choose Volver, just because Museum is basically crafted from the clichés found in family-friendly live action movies (I found it to be very reminiscent of The Santa Clause), and so I'm sure most people my age would hate it. But I am apparently five years old, because I thought it was the cutest movie ever. And for serious, if this movie had been released when I was actually five? It would have been my most favourite movie ever. I couldn't believe how many times Larry tried to leave his job. I would love a job as fantastic as that! Uhm, besides the life-threatening part. But I suspect that I would have actually read the instruction manual, and so avoided the worst of it. People always make fun of me for following the rules. :(

Although I gotta say that I didn't really buy Dick Van Dyke as a bad guy. I sort of kept expecting him to break out in merry song. "Truly Scrumptious" or something, I could have gone for that. XD

And how come we already have a HP5 teaser but no PotC3 teaser, when PotC3 is set to come out before HP5? Where is the justice in this world? Haha, this summer is going to be all HP and PotC, and I am taking bets on which movie I will spend more money on. XD What do you think? What do you think? My bet is on PotC. I saw HP4 three times and PotC2 eight times. XD And I think I am more of a fair weather HP fan, anyway. I'm like, "Cool, theories! Awesome, a title!" and then I forget about it for a while. BUT I AM ALWAYS THINKING ABOUT PIRATES!! Yarg! XD
