NaNoWriMo START!
Nov. 2nd, 2006 11:39 am(I feel like this is a very self-indulgent entry, just to warn you, haha.)
So I think I started my NaNoWriMo 2006 exactly the opposite way a NaNoWriMo is supposed to be started. XD Yesterday was day eleven of being sick and I stayed home to sleep and write various responses about The Gossamer Journal. Haven't read it? Here, I'll sum up: "Today my husband came to visit me. But when I refused to see him, he left! WHY DOES HE HATE ME SO?" Uhm, I wonder. It was a much easier read than Genji but perhaps only because the author is obsessed with the ridiculous problems she creates for her marriage. I guess what I am learning from this class is I am not meant to be a scholar of classical Japanese literature, I have no patience for all this self-imposed grief. XD;
( NaNo and how simply wonderful I am. )
And now I should probably go get ready for school because I am actually going today, wow!
