Amadeus was on TV last night. XD
I found my tomatoes!!
I forgot to set my alarm for this morning and woke up late, but my mom drove me to school so it was all good. ^_^;;
I got a letter from the Golden Key Club thing inviting me to join because I was in the top 15% of UVic students last year. When my mother first told me this I thought she said I was in the top 50%, which is slightly less impressive. When I told my dad this he informed me of his belief that my brother is in the top 95% of his school. I wouldn't know, as I never see the kid anymore. But I don't know how impressive being in the top 15% is, seeing how I got a B- in Greek last year ...
I think I'm going to take the JLPT. XD I'm excited!! Today I got a letter from one of my penpals and while I'm sure he wrote it nice and simply so I could understand it, I didn't have to look anything up, not at all. So that is quite awesome indeed. XD
All the posts in the NaNoWriMo LJs are making me so very anxious! Why is it not November? Well, it is good that it is not, because so far I only have one character name for this year's NaNo, and I only just came up with it on my way home from school today. One of my friends saw a girl with a NaNoWriMo shirt walking around at one of the local malls -- this is pretty well the BEST THING EVER. I mean, I know I say a lot of things are the best thing ever? But with this one, OH MAN OH MAN I MEAN IT.
I bought a UVic jacket and two UVic shirts today, which can surely be used as an argument for why I should not be allowed to have money, but at least now I won't have to freeze in the mornings when I walk to the bus. BOSS!!!*
* My brother used to make fun of me for saying this. I haven't said it in so long though!! XD XD XD
I like this song very much indeed, but at the same time I must admit to rather liking my misheard lyrics better than the actual lyrics. They fit very nicely with the story I was going to use for my NaNoWriMo 2004, that I am now sort of rebuilding in the back of my mind. Well, oh well, I'll just go on pretending those are the actual words.
