Oh my goodness, an actual entry!
Sep. 4th, 2005 12:14 amThere is a song that seems to be popular on the radio now, "These Words (I Love You)" by Natasha Bedingfield. My hobby as of late is watching MuchMusic at absurd times of night, and I just saw the music video. The only reason I mention this at all is because the song reminds me soooo~ much of a very awesome book, Dodie Smith's I Capture the Castle. Well, only one line, but by association the whole song. And it's really a dumb reason, too. But it's because one of the lines in the chorus is "I love you I love you I love you I love you" (some very creative writing there) and the last line of Castle is "I love you I love you I love you." I AM AN AMAZING DETECTIVE.
Apparently this book was made into a movie in 2003. How did I not notice? Didn't I read the book before then? If you Google Image Search it most of the screencaps you get seem to be from the scene where Cassandra uses "make love" with its 1930s meaning, which confused me SO MUCH when I read the thing.
(I just accidentally signed up on Classmates.com. Sometimes I think it must be nice to be smart.)
(Hahahahaha! Twenty-one of the people I graded with got duped into signing up on here too! This is hilarious!)
I've seen Shanghai Knights twice in the past two weeks, on two different channels. In case you haven't noticed, I watch VERY intellectual movies. (Another thing I have seen twice in the past WEEK is Laruku videos. One on MuchMoreMusic's ClipTrip and one on Channel M's J-Pop TV. But dude! Twice!!) Today I watched a very censored Ferris Bueller's Day Off. But let's be honest here, that movie is awesome.
... And I have just lost my train of thought.
