Nov. 13th, 2003 05:12 pmChapter five of my NaNoWriMo novel, and the second main character has finally been introduced. ;) To celebrate, here are my most favouritest lines from this entire novel so far.
Also, my writing teacher doesn't know the difference between the passive voice and the imperfect tense. Today's class was very painful, let me tell you!
Another also! I have discovered that the local university has a whole department for Greek and Roman studies. This made me moan for a whole two hours. Tomorrow I have a counselling appointment because a mystery class appeared on my report card. And also because university sites are only helpful if you know how universities work, which I don't. I have spent more time in the counselling office in the past three months than ever before. But I suppose that's pretty common.
"What's she doing?" I asked.
"Looking for someone," Ewan answered. "But I can't tell you who. She has this thing."
