it's waiting there for you
May. 4th, 2003 06:51 pmYesterday was another genealogy seminar, blah. Read half of Diana Wynne Jones's Witch Week (which I've read twice before but I love this book XD ), even though I said I was going to use the time during lectures to write. Whoops. :X Still haven't finished the fairy tale book, either, but maybe this is a sign that I really am getting back into reading a lot, because I know that I used to read two or three books at the same time. I just like it better that way. :Þ
I read Mark Dunn's Ella Minnow Pea, too! I liked it a lot. Especially since there wasn't any getting rid of letters only to replace them with other letters (at least, not until the end). It was cool that they just had to leave out words with the banished letters. Really interesting. And I liked the ending, too, which hasn't happened in awhile. ;D
(Actually, that's a lie, as I liked the ending of Wolf Tower. Apparently the sequels to that book aren't so great. Darn it! Goodness knows I'll read them anyway.)
Soon I will stop talking only about books. Especially because this week is tech week for the school musical! Opening night is on Thursday! Don't expect me to be online a lot this week and next week, I shall most likely be at school for twelve hours a day. And enjoying it muchly. ;)
