Feb. 21st, 2003 05:46 pmToday my Japanese teacher gave us some listening practicing using the ELT song "Kiwoku." Wasn't she surprised when she discovered I'd already heard it and knew all the words! Ho ho ho. XDXD
There was a book I read at my grandmother's house when I was younger that I absolutely loved. It was a children's picture book, and I remember the pictures being sort of pastel-y, sort of blurry. The story was about a girl who had a doll and a little toy dog, and she loved them so much and did everything with them but one day they were accidentally (I think?) thrown out and she was absolutely heartbroken. So her father went to the garbage dump and searched all night until he found the doll and the dog, and the next morning the girl was so glad to see them again. Does anyone happen to know this book? The title, the author, anything? I am a little desperate. ^^; I'll see my grandma this weekend so maybe I'll ask to see if she remembers ...
Less than twenty-four hours till I'm in Calgary! <3333
