The thing is, Achilles was supposed to be the youngest prince in the Greek camp at Troy, wasn't he? One of the youngest warriors there? (Some retellings I've read go on and on about how he hasn't started shaving yet, which is amusing since all of the ancient Greek pottery he's on give him an obvious beard.) And it's not like they lived very long back then, anyway. I don't expect this movie (if it is indeed being made; I CAN'T FIND ANY INFORMATION ON IT) to be perfectly historically accurate, but I don't want to see a forty year old man playing Achilles . . . *whine whine complain complain weep weep*
I want to know who's going to play Cassandra. And Andromache. And Helen. If Helen isn't blonde I might pitch a fit. What's the good of being the daughter of Zeus if you can't be blonde, eh? ^.~
. . .
I'm sorrying to keep ranting about this movie . . . but geeze, it's my dream movie. It's called Troy and everything. If it doesn't live up to my expectations you can bet I will go on a rampage.
