I am studying Level 2 kanji on Read the Kanji, and this compound just came up: 殺気, "thirst for blood."

Am I ... am I really gonna need to know this? D:

I know! I am OBSESSED with it!!

I mean it doesn't teach you stroke order or anything, but it's a pretty snazzy way to study for the JLPT since all you need to know for that is readings and meanings! And I am determined to pass Level 2 this year, so here's hoping it works! :D

I HAVE actually heard it used in 殺気立つ which, given the explanation from my friend, is like seething anger... :D

Ha. It's a hidden intensity. :D

One of my students used it to describe how pissed he was.
