I went to see Aladdin Jr. again today. Poke fun at me if you will, but I am 100% glad that I went. :D (Though the woman sitting beside me seemed to feel bad that I was there by myself, hahaha. xD; )

Genie: "Phenomenal cosmic power!! ... Itty bitty living space."
Aladdin: "Genie, that's awful."
Genie: "Aw, could be worse. I could be trapped in a cardboard box watching High School Musical." (haha what. xD; this is like two jokes in one!)

Genie: "Rubber ducky, you're the one. You make bathtime so much fun. Rubber ducky, I'm awfully fond of -- Never fails, you get in the bath, there's a rub at the lamp."

Genie: "I can't help you unless you make a wish! Right, ducky?" xD;;

[Jafar rubs the lamp]
Genie: "Aw, and I was right in the middle of Hannah Montana."

Sultan: "It's that law that's the problem."
Jasmine: "Father?"
Sultan: "Well, I'm not dressed like tea time at the Empress for nothing!" xD xD

And now, dear friendslist, allow me to introduce to you my number one most favouritest moment from any version of Aladdin that I have yet seen. xD

Sultan: "Oh, my dear boy, I could kiss you. But I won't, I'll leave that to Jasmine. Don't force her! [to Jasmine] You know you can always fake a headache. [to Aladdin] No means no! Oh, what the heck!"

AND THEN HE TOTALLY GRABBED ALADDIN AND KISSED HIM RIGHT ON THE MOUTH XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD XD

And the audience was laughing so hard that no one could hear the rest of the scene. xDDDDDD

And then when they left the stage and the lights went dark before the next scene, everybody clapped. xDDDDDDDDD hahahaha except the little kid sitting in my row said, "Yuck!" hahahahaha what you talkin' 'bout, that was awesome!! xDDDD

hahaha you guys it was so great. I totally bet the only reason he did that was because it was their last performance. Everyone goes CRAZY when it's the last performance, hahaha, according to my experience at least. xDDDDDDD

(It is kind of extra hilarious to me because they changed the kiss after "A Whole New World" so that it's only Jasmine giving Al a kiss on the cheek. Her father moves faster than she does!! hahahahahahaha what. xDDDDD;; )

And the guy playing Aladdin totally pumped up the ridiculous Prince Ali performance, omg I love it. xD There's a joke where during the red carpet part that they did for "Prince Ali," a light goes off like a camera flash and he stumbles around the stage for a bit, all dazed. xDD; And he tripped and fell over the balcony again which all of the kids in the audience loved. xD But my favourite part is still him practicing saying his name, hahaha! "Ababwa ABABWA ababWA!!" xDDDDDDD

(lol I was trying to decide whether the tripping over the balcony is actually in character or not, haha. xD Because Aladdin is all agile and stuff! But then later I noticed that at some point in the scene where Jafar takes over Agrabah, Al loses his shoes, in preparation to transform back into a street rat. And so I was like, well perhaps it's the prince clothing that's making him all clumsy! And he took off his shoes because he's not used to wearing them and so he can't run as well, or something, and he wants to be able to move better! hahaha look at me all justifying these silly little details. xDDD )

(And this is equally silly, but during the escape from the Cave of Wonders, Aladdin was all, "Let's move!" Because "Carpet, let's move!" is as much of a catchphrase as he ever gets, him saying it here made me happy. xDDD; )

And I forgot that when Aladdin first sees Jasmine, they shone a spotlight on her and everyone stopped moving except for Abu and I don't know, that just totally amuses me. xDDD;

"One Jump Ahead" is so awesome onstage. Gaaaaah, all of these songs are so awesome onstage, it's ridiculous. xDDDD

I LOVED hearing "Her mother wasn't nearly so picky" get a huge laugh. xD And Rajah got some huge laughs, for his ridiculous facial expressions and ridiculous way of crawling off the stage, although no one seemed to care when he was all sad that Jasmine left. Aww, I thought that was funny. xDD;

And hahaha I didn't realize last time that the romantic music they played under Genie's "I can't make anyone fall in love with anyone else" was an instrumental version of "Can You Feel the Love Tonight." HAHAHA DISNEY xDDDDD;;

And I totally got all teary-eyed at the end because I am awesome. xDDDD

Okay I guess I should stop rambling now haha. But I'm very happy that I got to see this show twice. :) Aladdin = <333333333 haha xD

It was a production by Kaleidoscope Theatre, performed at the McPherson Playhouse. I had never actually been there before! I had only been to the Royal. So that was exciting. xD
