an entry of unfunny

1) Today is Mozart's two hundred and fiftieth birthday. But how can we be sure? I think we should get some genetic evidence. Oh, I know! Let's dig up his father! That'll do. And his sister, of course. His mother, if we can manage it. It is of extreme importance that we verify this man's birthday. And of course we'll have to dig up his wife. Collect them all, that sort of thing.

YES I AM STILL BITTER

2) Yahoo! Mail keeps showing advertisements for Victoria's Secret, and I wish they wouldn't. Not because it's degrading to women or anything like that - mostly because the last thing I need when I am checking my e-mail at school is half-naked ladies on the screen.

3) An embarrassing conversation (from yesterday) begun because my father wants to take me to Europe and I don't have any huge desire to go to Europe --

Sarah: I remembered one place you can take me in Europe.
Dad: Where?
Sarah: Vienna.
Dad: Why? Because today - tomorrow is an anniversary? Why not Salzburg?
Sarah: Salzburg is good, too.
Dad: Why?
Sarah: You guessed already.
Dad: Because today is an anniversary?
Sarah: Tomorrow.
Dad: It's already tomorrow in Salzburg.

I AM THE BIGGEST POSER IN THE ENTIRE WORLD EVER

I wish I had a better reason for going to Europe than "Well, I do like that movie ..."

(Also, Troy.)

4) I have to go to class~~~~~! *runs away*

Better reason: PRETTY! Observe: Exhibit A (http://pics.livejournal.com/marikochan/pic/0004fb3r), Exhibit B (http://pics.livejournal.com/marikochan/pic/00030swt), Exhibit C (http://pics.livejournal.com/marikochan/pic/0003w6a9), and, most especially, Exhibit D (http://pics.livejournal.com/marikochan/pic/0002swyh).

Actually, I really liked that one picture you posted a while ago of the outdoor Shakespeare theatre. I think it would be great to go see something like that. I don't know how eager my dad would be to go to England, though - he seems to be more into taking me to France or Germany.

Exhibit C is good, too! When I was watching Merchant of Venice, I thought the shots of the city were really interesting. I was surprised to find they shot in the actual city, that it still looked like it could be that time period. I am too used to western North America, with the oldest buildings being from the 1800s. ^^;

And Exhibit D! Of course! Hahahahaha~, that's fantastic. XD

I'm sure France and Germany have pretty, too, I just haven't been there. Sigh.

I'm used to Eastern North American, where we *gasp* have some buildings from the 1700s! It's really odd being in Europe for that reason. =) And yeah, Venice was the one city I visited that looked EXACTLY like what I expected.
