my poem got deleted
by a slip of the finger
on the delete key,
oddly enough.
I would rather it had been the insert key
because then it would be annoying
but at least I would be able to salvage
SOMETHING.
I hope my teacher comes not
because I am not working that hard
even though this could indeed be disguised as
poetry.

The crazy girl next to me says "I hate you"
and I am afeared.
I lack a spelling checker
but I can sing the periodic table of the
elements.
not very fast though.
it's kind of depressing.

well it's too late now.
my life is over.
like Blanche's on Golden Girls last night.
except it wasn't really.
I didn't watch the rest.
maybe she did die in the end.
that would be sad.
except I don't like Blanche.
Rose is my favourite.
Because I can relate to her.
Because she never understands what people are
trying to tell her.
That's like me.
Sometimes.
Not all the time.
Also I watched Spongebob
and Patrick thought that these two starfish
were his parents.
But they weren't.
I'm not as dumb as Patrick.
I'm between Patrick and Rose
in terms of dumbness.

I should hand this poem in.
Ms. M------- will adore it.
Because I use concrete images.
Like "Spongebob."
And "Rose."
But we're not allowed to say "love is a Rose."
But I didn't.
Until just now.
So that's good.
I can cut this part out later. :)

She is probably against emoticons, too.
But I like them.
They make me happy.
Except this one.

I have seen one episode.

And also I understood nothing.
Like Rose.
I have just been shown some disturbing language.
Please save me from the disturbing language.
I always say "ew" after poems are read.
It's not my fault
that they are gross
and disgusting
and offensive
to my delicate sensibilites.

And they say I'm not working hard enough!!!!!

I don't print off my pictures
unless they are Calvin
and his buddy
Hobbes
because those are happy.
Like the emoticons!
