two posts in a row on the same negative topic

So I just watched Chicken Little for the first time, and oh my god. I think I have found my least favourite animated Disney movie. And this is coming from someone who can't even think of any other movie from the Disney animated canon that I've disliked. I wasn't a fan of Dinosaur but that was because it bored me, not because it was bad. I see people criticizing Treasure Planet all the time but I LOVE that movie. The fact that I all of a sudden have an animated Disney film that I don't like is kind of blowing my mind right now. I don't care for this. :(

Anyway, this review pretty much sums up why I didn't like it. The animation, the jokes, the story ... nothing worked. Nothing that Disney animation gets praised for can be found in this movie.

In conclusion I would like to pretend that Chicken Little doesn't exist. :|

My reaction to this movie was probably not at all helped by the fact that I watched it right after a rewatch of Tangled, which is probably in my top five animated Disney movies. <3 I watched it with a friend who is decidedly not as into Disney as I am, but even she had to admit it is the cutest movie ever. xD

I definitely did not watch Chicken Little because it didn't seem like one of the ones whose charm would carry over to an adult audience. Good to hear I made the right decision! (I actually didn't even know it was Disney- I'm totally willing to pretend it doesn't exist.)

What I found disappointing about Treasure Planet was mostly that it was not Titan A.E., which I adored, even though I could see that it had the same art style. (Man, were these Disney too?) I don't remember hating it, though.
