Time for a totally random picture post!


Let's begin with a deer just chillin' in the backyard.


Laziest Hallowe'en costume ever! I spent all day in my PJs. These slippers are adorable but surprisingly difficult to walk in!


Postcard from NaNoWriMo! It has Chris Baty's real life signature on the back, and I almost went dashing through the house to show everyone before I realized he's not actually as famous as I think he is.


Then they sent me a poster! I enjoy how my ~artistic~ cropping means you can't even see the picture on this thing, haha!

Books from which to study for the JLPT! I actually really love the design for the one in the foreground. It's so much easier to get in the mood to study if the book you're studying from is visually appealing!


Studying for the JLPT! A page of adjectives and adverbs (omg NOTES!!), my whale pencil, and my lovely pink DS, which I definitely use more for studying than for gaming.

We now conclude with the present one of my managers gave me today, completely out of the blue. (This manager is so down with random gift-giving; he once gave one of my co-workers a PSP pretty much just because he felt like it. So amazing!!)






I do believe this is a fantastic way to start Sarah's Week of Star-Crossed Lovers! xD

It just smells like perfume to me. Like ... generic scent?? idk, lol. I will have to get someone more knowledgeable than me to smell it and then I'll report back. xD

And yes, I got the NaNo stuff for donating. :) They sent the postcard and some stickers first, and so I figured they were out of posters or something and resigned myself to the fact that I wasn't going to get one, but then like a week later it arrived! So that was a pretty cool surprise, lol.

And it really doesn't smell like much of anything to me. It smells like ... generic perfume? I will have to report back after I get some other people to smell it and describe it better than I have. xD

haha, would you believe I hadn't even heard of such a thing as a Nintendo DS until after the DS Lite had been released? I like to think I'm pretty knowledgeable about gaming but apparently not so much!

That MJ book is the Before He Was King book, so there's a ton of amazing pictures in it! :D

As for the perfume ... seriously, it's such a forgettable smell, haha. So generic!
