and this is why I'm not a poet.

Stolen from [livejournal.com profile] shadoweddestiny: Put your music player on random, and create a poem from the first lines of the first twenty songs that come up. The first line of the twenty-first song is the title.

Love Isn't Funny

Walking like a man
Don't you wanna go for a ride
So long ago I don't remember when
We are strong

I thought I saw a girl brought to life
Colonel Peron
Baby can't you see
See you blowing me a kiss

I wasn't jealous before we met
Some people say a man is made out of mud
How dare you say that my behaviour's unacceptable
Lost in a dream

Think of all the things I do
Zoom zoom zoom
If every word I said could make you laugh
Lonely fear lights up the sky

How do you document real life
Can you keep up?
If I, I get to know your name
Say you to me

(hahaha my collection of English songs is so schizophrenic. ^^; )

In other news, if you ask Google Maps for directions on how to walk from Victoria to Tokyo, it puts you on a ferry to Hawaii and from there tells you to "kayak across the Pacific Ocean." ETA: 91 days later. hahaha amazing. xDD

I never knew you were an ABBA fan, I think this portion of the movie (and gimme gimme gimme) is my favorite in the whole show.

I don't know that you can call me an ABBA fan when I actually really don't like "Dancing Queen" (TRAVESTY, I KNOW!!), but having said that I do like to pull out the Mamma Mia! soundtrack every so often. xD I agree, "Gimme Gimme Gimme" is awesome!! I also like "Knowing Me, Knowing You" a lot, but they cut that one out of the movie I guess ...

my other favorite song is "does your mother know" and I thought it was pretty funny how they adapted that into the movie.

I guess I like dancing queen, but I think it's one of my less liked songs. I appreciate it, but I'll never listen to it more than once. I've heard it too many times now. (then again, I liked how they played it out in the movie too, so young and spunky.)

lets rent it and watch it in the new year, ok?

Yes, I definitely was amused by "Does Your Mother Know." xDD And yeah, I didn't mind "Dancing Queen" in the movie, but it still wasn't my favourite.

lets rent it and watch it in the new year, ok?

Okay!! :D I actually put it on my Christmas list, so maybe we won't even have to rent it. xD;
