And I know!! I was way upset when my friend corrected my interpretation of "Hide the rum," hahaha. I only reluctantly accept her version of things; mine is much more interesting, I think. Hahaha! XD
I was really confused when I first heard the title Meet the Robinsons, not just because of the Meet the Parents/Fockers thing (I agree with you, the title reminds me of those movies), but because I was like, "Robinsons? You mean, as in the Swiss Family Robinson?" and for months I thought it was a futuristic version of that story. XD But I guess not! Haha.
