While on TV they put a dog in space and left her there, you should've seen her face . . .
A week or two ago, a little sticker spontaneously appeared on Athena's locker. It's a sticker of a dog, dressed up like an astronaut with a fish-bowl on his head, his arm up in a "to infinity -- and beyond!!"-type pose. She didn't seem too enthusiastic about it, so I took it and stuck it on my own locker, at an angle to look like he was flying through the air (with the greatest of ease).
Yesterday at lunchtime, I discovered that someone had written on my locker. Not only that, but it was writing in the form of a speech bubble for the puppy dog astronaut.
I know you're all leaning forward in your seats, waiting for the exciting conclusion to this tale. What did the speech bubble say, Sarah? We can't stand the suspense!
It says:
G'day Earthling!!
XD XD XD XD
If that is not the coolest thing ever, I don't know what is. I am quite tempted to draw a message underneath it, reading "To whomever wrote that: YOU ARE SO COOL." But then that might interfere with the coolness of the first message, and so for now I will leave it all alone.
