Oh my eyes they're blind! I found it in the end. (kaishite, yo!)
So, I packed all my important stuff (bank card, cheques, bus pass, ID card, phone etc) into one bag, so I wouldn't forget them, and then promptly forgot the bag at home. *sigh*
